Welcome to our "home away from home."
The cabin has two bedrooms; each with a double bed. The living room has a pull-out couch. The kitchen comes with fridge, stove and micro-wave and other small appliances. There is hot water!
The washroom has a flush toilet. You will notice beside the flag an enclosure, that's the shower!
Outside there is a barbeque and for Fresian nationalists there is a flag to promote the cause. A new and enlarged deck and a sidewalk made of local limestone and mortar have made the cottage look a little sharper and a touch more inviting!

The "bunky" is a bonus. An extra room or a respite from the rest of the family.
There are two double beds and a small loft. Electricity is available as well as a small deck to enjoy another view of the lake.

The new deck welcomes a late afternoon shower and spins sunshine into shades of sparkling light.

Evenings are special at the cottage. The setting sun sets the stage for a display of God's wonder and benediction.

Gazebo by the lake

The gazebo is another retreat and has the added pleasure of keeping mosquitoes at bay when the sun has set. A glass of wine or sherry never tastes better than here where you can catch the loons call in the cup of your ear.
Summer lightning storms slice their sonatas through the sky and the gazebo affords shelter and a front seat at the edge of creations stage.
Light a candle and its furtive glimmer resonates with romance and hospitality.

Morning inspiration off the dock

Morning mists bind breezes
A glass glazer molds a mirror
Reflections reveal inverted inspiration
A dip off the dock disperses
Reveals a new and refracted canvas
